Shared cooperative-cancellation helpers for the mixing / conversion pipeline.

Cancellation is polled (BooleanSupplier) rather than interrupt-driven, but a thread interrupt is honored too. The interrupt status is deliberately preserved (isInterrupted(), never interrupted()) so outer layers still observe it.
