Premade Powers List

A boss can have one or several powers. We recommend you keep the amount under 5. A full list of powers can be found in the ~/plugins/EliteMobs/powers folder after the plugin is installed on a server.

The following list contains 69 documented powers. Additional custom powers can be created using the Elite Script system, and some dungeons come bundled with their own unique powers not listed here.

Power Implementation Types

EliteMobs powers have migrated from .yml (YAML) to .lua (Lua scripting). Most powers now use Lua scripts for their implementation. A few legacy powers still use .yml configuration: bonus_coins.yml, custom_summon.yml, and elite_script.yml.

Lua-Based Powers: The majority of powers are now implemented as Lua scripts (.lua files). These powers use the Lua scripting system for their logic, particle effects, cooldowns, and other parameters.

Legacy YAML Powers: A small number of powers (bonus_coins.yml, custom_summon.yml, elite_script.yml) remain as .yml configuration files.


Elite Script Format

Note that some of the powers are in the Elite Script format, and can be customized.

Here is an example of the attack_blinding.lua power and how it was previously formatted using the Elite Script format:

This feature enables you to fully customize the attack_blinding.lua power. You can specify which potion effect should be applied, the duration of the effect, the target, and the event that triggers the boss to use the power.
